The premise

Not an interview show. A conversation that starts with an animal — and ends somewhere nobody planned to go.

Founders, athletes, entertainers, creators, and cultural icons share the defining moments of their journeys — and, almost always, there's an animal somewhere in the story.

01
Human-first stories

The animal is the doorway. The story is always about the person who walked through it.

02
Authentic conversation

Curiosity over interviews. No press-tour answers, no ten-question formats.

03
Cinematic quality

Shot like a film, released like a ritual. Consistency over volume, every week.

A note from your host
Hi, I'm Mimi.

I'm endlessly curious about people and the stories that shape them. Over the years I've explored everything from the paranormal and the unexplained to acting, voiceover, and storytelling — because the most interesting conversations start with unexpected questions.

I'm also the proud human to both a dog and a cat, which has taught me something I never expected: animals have a way of showing up in the biggest moments of our lives. The wins, the heartbreaks, the pivots, the quiet seasons — and sometimes the moments that change everything.

That's why I created Best In Show.

This isn't a pet podcast.

It's a show about extraordinary people and the lives they've built. Founders, athletes, entertainers, creators, innovators, and cultural icons join me to share the defining moments of their journeys — and, almost always, there's an animal somewhere in the story.

Sometimes it's the dog that got them through their lowest season. Sometimes it's the horse that taught them resilience, the rescue that changed their perspective, or the cat that kept them company while they were building something no one else believed in. Those stories are rarely told — but they're often the ones that reveal who we really are.

Whether we're laughing, getting emotional, or diving into the wonderfully unexpected, my goal is simple: conversations that leave you feeling like you've just spent an hour with fascinating people — and walked away knowing them a little better.

So grab your favorite human (or your favorite furry friend), and welcome to Best In Show. I'm so glad you're here.
